| The year 2007 was another year of
growth for the Northwest Credit Union Alliance.
During the year, the NWCUA experienced another year of excellent transaction growth.
No-surcharge transactions going through the Alliance exceeded 320,000 for year, an increase of 26% over 2006.
NWCUA members look forward to meeting with local credit unions to further Alliance growth and development.
Regardless of size, the Alliance can provide value. For credit unions of smaller size, participation in
the Alliance provides expanded no-surcharge ATM access at a very low cost. For credit unions of all sizes,
participation in the Alliance provides the comfort of knowing that, regardless of processor, a local
no-surcharge network exists for their members. William R. Hayes, President and CEO of Verity Credit Union
and also Chair of the NWCUA states "Supplying our region and members with economical, surcharge-free ATM
access is the NWCUA's primary focus. The NWCUA is dedicated to providing a low cost, regional,
surcharge-free environment for participating members and their cardholders. Alliance participation affords
the freedom to select their ATM processor based on price and performance while maintaining a strong,
no-surcharge network defined by the credit unions of our region."
At present, 27 credit unions in Washington are participants in the NWCUA. Over 300 ATMs, including many
that are deposit-taking, are available to members at participating credit unions. Participation is open
to any credit union. We would love to have your credit union as a member.

Formed July 2000, the Northwest Credit Union Alliance
is a non-profit "no-surcharge" ATM coalition of Washington credit
unions. Initially comprised of eight founding credit unions
dedicated to making more no-surcharge and deposit-taking ATMs
available to their members, membership today totals 23 credit
unions, 315 ATMs, and annually provides northwest credit union
members over 242,180 surcharge free ATM transactions. NWCUA
participation is processor neutral. Membership is based upon a
reciprocal no-surcharge arrangement between participants, allowing
individual credit unions to determine the surcharging practices of
non-members.
