Hit and Giggle

Hit & Giggle Golf Tournament

Description: This July saw the 12th annual Hit and Giggle Golf Tournament swing its way to victory for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. On July 16, golf enthusiasts of every skill level braved the rain clouds to put their short game to the test. Hosted at the Tri Mountain Golf Course in Ridgefield, the day proved to stay dry as 120 players drove, chipped and putted their way around the course. The tournament’s signature holes, “Three Sheets to the Wind” and “A Pirate’s Life for Me” encouraged participants to shrug off the seriousness sometimes associated with the sport, and dress up in eye patches, feathered hats, and beer goggles while teeing off. This year, the tournament, co-sponsored by Fibre Federal and Red Canoe Credit Unions raised over $22,000.
