Credit Unions for Kids Wine Auction

Date: April 13, 2012

Description: The candles are lit, the crystal is sparkling and the room has never looked more festive. Get ready for a vintage night of fun, including a silent auction, a live auction and entertainment galore. Not to mention a delicious dinner and plenty of premium wines. Yes we CAN!

Description: Longshore FCU is collecting aluminum cans for the whole month of April to celebrate Credit Union National Youth Week. The proceeds of the recycled cans will be donated to Credit Unions for Kids to benefit Seattle Children's Hospital.

Hank & Moose Open

Date: July 26, 2012

Description: Originally named after New York Yankee Baseball greats Hank Bower & Moose Skowron, the Hank & Moose Open continues to be a fan-favorite event. The 13th annual tournament has a stellar lineup of former baseball All-Stars, pro football Hall-of-Famers and beloved basketball superstars, who will be on the same team benefiting Credit Unions for Kids and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The first 12 events have collectively raised over $2.7 million. The popular golf tournament is scheduled for Thursday, July 26, at The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club in Aloha, Ore. It will feature 35 professional sports celebrities and about 175 credit union friends and supporters.

Change a Child's Life Coin Drive

Description: The Credit Unions for Kids' Change a Child's Life coin collection campaign is a great way to engage members in your fundraising initiatives.  Simply place the canisters at your teller stations and member services representatives' desks, and invite members to donate their loose change when they stop by the branch.  It's very easy for members to donate the change from a check they are depositing.  Remember, a little bit goes a long way!
