DATA ANALYST

Fibre Federal Credit Union is seeking a Full-Time Data Analyst to join our team by making an impact in your community by helping our members achieve their financial goals.

Wage Range:  $67,724.80 – $95,374.69

The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase. The target range for qualified new hires is typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role.

This is not a remote position.  Position is located in Longview, Washington.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Responsible for analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that will help drive Credit Union decisions. This role will involve collaborating with various departments to provide insights that will enhance our Credit Union’s marketing, operations, and member experience. The candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that will help drive Credit Union decisions. This role will involve collaborating with various departments to provide insights that will enhance our Credit Union’s marketing, operations, and member experience. The candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and maintain data models to facilitate data analysis and reporting. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity through data cleansing, validation, and verification.
  • Implement and utilize marketing software to better understand member behavior and construct marketing recommendations based on data collected and analyzed.
  • Build and develop a data analytics department including planning and executing budgeted resources (Capital, Human Resources, Vendors, etc.).
  • Analyze and manage projects including project approval and prioritization of projects.
  • Define, develop, and execute project plans, including scope definition, expectations, activities, cost estimates, and schedules.
  • Negotiate and sign contracts with applicable vendors.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data analysis efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with department heads and cross-functional teams to build strong relationships and develop dashboards, reports, and presentations that effectively communicate data insights.
  • Responsible for staying informed about industry developments and providing insights that can help the organization remain competitive.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Education – (1) A bachelor’s degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Experience – Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Microsoft SQL and Power BI Development experience preferred.
