InfoSight
InfoSight is your online compliance resource designed to provide credit unions with up-to-date and comprehensive federal and state compliance information. InfoSight users work together to make the day-to-day business of credit unions simpler for the people who work there—and the members who belong.
CAL: The Compliance Answer Library
CAL is the Northwest Credit Union Association's online Compliance Answer Library, a tool that empowers members to:
- Search for answers to questions (no long treatises to wade through)
- Track favorite questions (or categories) and get an update as soon as they change
- Rate the answers that are found—so we know how to make them better
- Submit a question if the answer is unavailable. We'll get back to you within one business day and add the question to CAL for future question seekers

The Compliance Calendar contains up-to-date information about comment letter deadlines, effective dates of regulations, deadlines for reporting, and other important compliance dates.

CapWiz is the Association's grassroots advocacy tool that gives you the opportunity to quickly and effectively communicate with policy makers about key issues.
Credit Union Philosophy Certification
New employees notice very quickly that the credit union space is unique and special. Our Credit Union Philosophy Certification Manual & Quiz captures the rich history of the credit union movement, as well as the social and economic missions we fulfill. After reading the manual, take the quiz and then download a certificate. This engaging resource is highly recommended for all new employees as well as for staff wanting a refresher course on the roots of the “People Helping People” philosophy.
Chapters
NWCUA’s 20 individual chapters each represent credit unions located within designated geographical boundaries. The Association’s chapter program promotes unity among credit unions in a local area through communication, networking, training and participation in community, state and national projects that support the cooperative spirit of the credit union movement.
Credit Unions for Kids
NWCUA works closely with the six Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to help raise funds for Credit Unions for Kids. There is a strong history in the Pacific Northwest to help the kids and fulfill the credit union philosophy of People Helping People.
Events Calendar
We sponsor many events throughout the year, and also promote events from system allies that may be of interest to credit unions in Washington & Oregon. Events with more information available or that are open for registration are linked. Because small credit unions face unique challenges, the Northwest Credit Union Association has a section of our website dedicated to helping small credit unions thrive.
Anthem Newsletter & Blog
Anthem is the Northwest Credit Union Association’s newsletter. We keep up with Advocacy, Compliance issues, Regulation and other industry news that isimportant to busy credit union staff. Anthem is emailed to subscribers Tuesday and Thursday of each week. Updates and new stories are posted to our blog frequently so please visit ofen. For busy credit union professionals, a Friday recap edition which can be emailed directly to you.
Networking Councils
The Northwest Credit Union Association’s networking councils provide value-added forums for peer groups to meet, share experiences, and learn from each other. Council members enjoy networking opportunities, admission to all council meetings, a directory of council members, and unlimited access to a council-specific listserv in the areas of: Collections, Compliance, HR & Training, Lending, Marketing, Technology & Security
Grants & Scholarships
The Northwest Credit Union Foundation provides scholarship grants to help strengthen the Northwest credit union community. This section includes online and downloadable applications, information on the Foundations’ scholarship funding cycles and eligibility criteria.
