Credit Union Employees and Members Offered Special NBA Perks on Appreciation Night

Consolidated Federal Credit Union invites other credit unions to get their game on. Credit union employees and members receive Portland Trailblazers ticket discounts during two upcoming “Appreciation Night” opportunities. Each includes a special experience not available to all fans.

Love basketball? Nothing says Valentine’s Day like sharing a couple of club-level Portland Trail Blazers tickets with a loved one. Those tickets, priced at $89 each, include access to all-inclusive food stations. Did we mention those tickets also get you in to watch the players warm up before the gates open to the public?

Consolidated Federal Credit Union (CFCU) in Portland, Ore., is working with the Trail Blazers and other credit unions to present two Credit Union Employee and Member Appreciation Night opportunities. The first is Feb. 14, when the Blazers host the Washington Wizards. The second opportunity is March 22, when the Memphis Grizzlies come to town.

“This is a great opportunity for Northwest credit unions to create more awareness,” said CFCU Marketing Manager Jeff Berard. “The more members we can get to participate, the bigger this annual event will become.”

Berard said discounted tickets are available for as little as $10 for each of the games. The top-end tickets offer club access.

“It’s a great chance for the credit union community to support our team,” Berard added. He noted that even though Wells Fargo Bank is a major sponsor of the team, the Trail Blazers’ organization extends a warm public welcome to credit union members.

On the second appreciation night on March 22, credit union employees and members who are part of the group get to stay after the game, make their way down to the court and shoot a free throw.

Even before publicly announcing the appreciation night opportunities, more than 75 tickets had been snapped up by excited members.

More information can be found here and tickets can be ordered online. The password is “credit.”
