Attendees are also encouraged to bring some of their own actual delinquent accounts to the seminar. We will be discussing these accounts as a group. It is an excellent training technique that sometimes produces some unexpected revenue. Attendees will need to bring all necessary information about the account, phone numbers, delinquent accounts, etc. (No problems with privacy; we use first names only).

Steve Peterson has over 34 years of experience in the field of collections. His career began with Ford Motor Credit Company in 1977. After four years, he moved on to accept the position of Accounts Receivable Manager for a large Midwestern retail chain. In 1988 Steve joined Mapother & Mapother Attorneys as Law where he was the lead Account Representative for 14 consecutive years. Bill Mapother & Steve developed & operated a collection school together and have trained well over 10,000 employees since 1991. In 2002 Steve formed his own collection training company called Collection Training Consultants. He conducts on-site training events for companies all across the U.S. He has conducted seminars for 27 different State Credit Union leagues and 15 State Banking Associations.
