Oregon Legislative Leadership Summit

The Oregon Legislature will be in session for the month of February 2012 with its first official annual session, and in the spirit of new offerings, the Association will be hosting its first Oregon Legislative Leadership Summit designed to help shape a future for credit unions that allows them to thrive.

This short-session event is aimed at bringing together credit union leaders and their elected officials, while recognizing that the condensed session makes a full grassroots advocacy program difficult to schedule. Credit union leaders are urged to attend and bring at least one guest—a key advocate from the credit union, the chair of your credit union’s board, or perhaps a senior staff member involved in community affairs.

We’ll kick-off the afternoon with a group lunch and briefing, followed by Hill visits with legislators, who will be invited to join us at a culminating reception at the state capitol.
